Day Theory School

aft helicopter theory

The day theory course was established for those who have no other commitments during the day and wish to complete their PPL or CPL licence in the shortest time possible. This is a full time intensive course and takes approximately 12 weeks to complete. We use the aft helicopter theory books for all of our courses. You will fly in the morning the study starts at 9am through to 3pm followed by another flight in the afternoon. The course runs 5 days per week and local accommodation is available.

Each subject will be covered in detail followed by a series of practice examinations. Then the real exam will be taken immediately after each subject when the material is fresh in your mind.  Students wishing to do any of the seven single subjects are more than welcome to join any of the scheduled classes.
