5 Hours of Short and Long Line training mixed hours in Robinson R22 and R44*
This is a basic training course in which you will learn how to sling loads underneath the helicopter safely. Sling loading is used in many helicopter operations including fire fighting, heavy lift, moving loads to otherwise unreachable areas, and many more.
The course starts with a short line of 30 feet and then we slowly build you up to use a 100-foot “long line”. Accurate placement, emergencies, and autorotations to the ground are all covered in the course. A great way to expand your licence abilities and hone your skills.
*hours allotted determined by V2 Helicopters.
