V2 Helicopters is a CASA-approved commercial helicopter operator. Every aircraft, pilot, and procedure is governed by Australia’s aviation safety regulations and reviewed continuously as part of our day-to-day operations.
Regulatory Approval
V2 Helicopters holds a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Air Operator Certificate, authorising us to conduct commercial helicopter charter and aerial operations.

● Operations conducted under Australian Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR)
CASA certification means our systems, maintenance, training, and decision-making processes meet national aviation safety standards and are subject to regular oversight.
Flight Crew
Our pilots are selected for experience, judgement, and professionalism.
● Fully CASA-licensed commercial helicopter pilots
● Extensive charter and operational flight experience
● Qualified on Robinson R22, Robinson R44, and Bell 206 aircraft
● Ongoing recurrent training, proficiency checks, and emergency procedures.
We prioritise calm decision-making, situational awareness, and operational discipline, particularly in time-critical or complex environments.
Aircraft & Maintenance
Our fleet is maintained under CASA-approved maintenance programs by licensed aviation engineers.
● Scheduled maintenance based on flight hours and calendar limits
● Detailed pre-flight and post-flight inspections on every aircraft
● Immediate grounding of aircraft if any safety item requires attention
● Maintenance records reviewed and audited as part of our compliance system
● Aircraft availability is never prioritised over airworthiness.
Safety Management
V2 Helicopters operates under a formal Safety Management System (SMS) designed to identify risk early and manage it decisively.
This includes:
● Structured operational risk assessments
● Incident reporting and review
● Ongoing refinement of procedures
● A safety-first culture across pilots, engineers, and operations staff
